The children started sewing in 4th Class. First they learned how to ‘backstitch’. Once they had all mastered that skill, they could start on their art piece. A few days ago we did a quiz using QR Codes on the Primary Planet magazine. We got an iPod each and opened the iNigma app which is a free QR Code Reader. We were handed a page with the QR Codes on it. Beside each QR Code was a blank space to write the answers. We had to answer ten questions in all.

‘Africa’ as Gaeilge- 4th Class Audio

As part of our study of Africa, 4th Class have been learning the Africa-Toto Irish language version of the song. They did really well learning some of the difficult lines and sounded brilliant.
