We are currently reading a novel called The Hodgeheg by Dick-King Smith. It deals with the topic of road safety. The hedgehogs in the story face many challenges trying to cross the road. We’ve begun to make Sean Scully inspired Hallowe’en masks from our recycled paper.

We have all settled in really well. Although we’ve only been in school for seven days we’ve been really busy – playing, working, settling into a routine, making friends and exercising to Gonoodle.   We’ve had our first Gaelic coaching session, been to our first assembly and our first school mass, done a tour of the school, played in the soft play area and visited the school

On Friday June 1st Mrs.O’Rourke and Seamus took our class out to the school organic garden. We planted many seeds such as beans, beetroot and red onion. We learned how to evenly space out the seeds and how to care for our garden.
