Stitching in the Senior Room

The children in the senior room have been learning how to stitch to create art. They have learned how to start and stop with a back stitch. They have practised tacking, running stitch and back stitch. They have learned how to stitch on a button.

Not so Scary Scarecrows!!

We painted a background of a sky and different fields using water paints, then we added our scarecrows! Some comments from the children; “My scarecrow has 19 patches”, Romilly Rose. “Our scarecrows turned out lovely”, Conor. “My scarecrow is very scary”, Harry. “My scarecrow’s name is Aimee Lee”, Isabel.
